Oil Type and Capacity Since you have finally made the smart decision to purchase a brand new Subaru Legacy, it's important to be smart in the long run by taking excellent care of your Legacy. One of the most crucial things to do when maintaining your new Subaru Legacy is keeping up on regular oil changes. By changing your oil regularly, you are taking the necessary steps to extend the life of your Subaru. Subaru takes pride in producing cars that last for hundreds of thousands of miles, something most other car makers simply cannot compete with. If you choose to change your oil yourself or take a quick trip over to the Subaru dealership, you will need to use the proper oil. Subaru has recommended that you use Synthetic 0w-20 oil to keep your engine running flawlessly, just like the day you drove it off the lot.

Chassis and Powertrain
Unlike most of competitors in its class, the 2015 Subaru Legacy is configured with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and revised steering and suspension, in addition to the 2015 model year's revised and retuned steering and suspension. All this delivers improved handling while delivering a quieter, smoother and more composed ride. The 2015 Subaru Legacy also can be configured as a Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV), which means it can exceed California formidable emissions standards, providing emission lower even than some hybrid or other alternative fuel vehicles.
